UIA receives Employer Recognition Award

The Uganda Insurers Association (UIA) was honoured with the Employer Recognition Award by the Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE) at its 46th Annual General Meeting, held on 28th March, 2025, at Hotel Africana in Kampala. This Prestigious Award acknowledges organizations that exemplify best employment practices. 

Our Senior Human Resource Officer, Marion Violet Kusoniwa, received the award on behalf of the Association. The honour was presented by the Minister of State for Labour, Employment, and Industrial Relations, Davinia Esther Anyakun, who commended UIA’s commitment to enhancing public awareness of insurance benefits in Uganda.

In her remarks, Marion Violet Kusoniwa expressed gratitude to FUE for its role in aligning employer operations nationwide and serving as a strong advocate for employer interests.
