Recently, we joined forces with Nicole Foundation in a charity drive for the Mulago Hospital Accident & Emergency Unit.
The aim of this charity was to lend a helping hand to the victims of road accidents with amenities to support them through and during their treatment period at the hospital.
We were represented by Patrick Nkoligo - our Technical Assistant, who thanked Mulago Hospital Management for allowing us to partner with them alongside Nicole Foundation in helping the road accident victims and to shade a light on road safety.
Speaking on behalf of Mulago Hospital Administration, Dr. Joseph Mubiru - the Acting Head - Accident & Emergency Unit, thanked us for fostering a relationship with Nicole Foundation by donating supplies to Road accident & trauma victims; a gesture he said gives hope for a better tomorrow.
He added that they receive about 200 accident victims a day and therefore an act of compassion like this goes a long way in improving their fate.
Nicole Foundation’s Volunteer Leader - Linda Nankunda said that they are dedicated to promoting road safety and welcomed avenues like this one that engage the public about vigilance on the road.
